This is our guiding question for this unit. By the end of the unit students will have an essay completed about this. At the end of each lesson students will collect information in a graphic organizer and after every three lessons choose the one they understand the best to write their body paragraph. So at the end of the unit, students only need to write their intro and conclusion, peer edit, make revisions, and turn in a clean copy to Ms. Kasper for a mastery grade. Our goal is to increase student's ability to connect events and explain their importance through quality writing.
